Taipei 1/6/08

Today the last daycand we are taking 6.25pm flight home. So this morni we woke up ard 9plus then..haha..watch tv and packed our final stuff like facial wash, shampoo...etc. Then by 11am we left the room and do our check out.

we left the luggage with the hotel cos it still too early to go to the airport. We had 1 big luggage, 2 small one to check in and 2 bagpack and 1 hand carry bag containing of goodies.

We went to the underground eatery again. Haha.. today i ate DanBaoFan set with seafood and HB ordered oystedr set with thin noodle but look like mee suan. think he attracted to their oyster liao. This trip he alrdy ate about 4 plate of them. we also try the mos burgerfired prawn and red bean pie (disappointed)

After that we went to Daiso again cos HB wanted to buy earphone but in the end can't find a suitable one. So we walked back to hotel but on e the way we saw Macdonald selling happy meal toys. 2 for 50TWD so we bought 4 -> 2 camera and 2 snoopy...haha...very cheap...and finally found camera for my 2 monsters liao.

After that we went collect our luggge. We walked across the road to the coach station and took the coach to TaoYuan airport at 125 TWD per pax. We left at 1plus and reached there about 1.50pm. very fast hor...or maybe 2day not much vehicle.

Hmm... compare to the airport, Singapore is still the BEST!!!

Our flight is at T1 but we went to try their skytrain and went to see teir T2 too. (so so oni) T2 more food to choose but in the end we ate Burger King....haha...that's ou last meal in Taiwan.

{On the flight we had a very smelly encounter...haha...We were seated behind exit and that flight exit seat was not taken so when we were in the air suddenly one guy sit infron of us. We thought nothing of it but then we smell something smelly ... then find that the guy got BO... fainted... Lucky he oni there for a min or so then left liao if not me and HB dun koe how to breathe leh. Then when we reached Singapore, we already decided to let everybody to go down 1st but then the BO guy stand in front of us taking his luggage down and letting the rest went 1st ...so we changed our mind and go down 1st b4 the BO guy. We basically running all the way to get far away from him. Hahaha}

After we check out, we were so hungry but we can't find the Ajiseng liao so in the end we went to eat Lasak and Meesiam...haha
And finally HOME SAWEET HOME!!!!

Taipei 31/5/08

31/5/08 (CKS memorial hall->WuFenPu)
Yeah!! 2morrow going back to Singapore liao. We took the 6plus flight so reach Sing alrdy 11pm liao. Today maybe want to go WuFenPu again. But weather not good today..see how 1st. Hope 2morrow weather good lah...dun want to go airport wet wet...

But i l oved today weather. When we stepped put of the hotel, gosh.. a cool breeze blow at us and the sky is covered with dark clouds. The weather remind me of Genting and Melborne. It very cooling~~

Still dun know where to go cos of the weather like this, the train will stop operating one. So in the end we decided to go to CKS memorial hall. Cos now oni 9plus and shopping not open yet.

But 1st we must have breakfast and i want to try the one at the underground mart. It near to the HRS station area. And it open since 6am. There have Mos burger, Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese stall.

I ate the chicken noodle soup cost 110TWD and HB ate the korean rice cost 120TWD. The noodle very big bowl and the soup better than yesterday oone. HB's rice got kimchi, egg, vegetables and jus mixed all together then eat. But he dun like the kimchi so ate half and we exchanged.

After breakfast, we took the Mrt to CKS memorial. Luck 2day weather cooling if not it will be very hot cos no shelter and have to climb the stairs. And lucky 2day there have events. So alot of ppl there. By 12plus, we left and went to WuFenPu to do our last mins shopping. want to buy shirt with onkey one and i found it. We bought a family set...haha...cost 1200TWD...finally yeah!!! We can wear out together..haha
Other then that i oso bought pants for Zhen and 2 singles for me. Ok that's all no more, cos 1 luggage alrdy pack pack liao..can't squeeze anymore.

It 3plus and we hungry and haven't tr their KFC and we have coupons so we bought KFC baack to our hotel. Very nice..especially the egg tarts...want to have some more leh...yummmiii
After that we took a nap..then about 6plus we went out for our last night in taipei and i bought me a shoe and some cute stickers...hahah..then we buy takeaway food back to eat.

After dinner then we start to pack our large luggage..hoope everything can be packed...haha...

Taipei 30/5/08

30/5/08 (Taipei Zoo Mrt Station->Maokong Godola-> WangFang Mrt Station->ZhongXiaoFuXing

Today we went to Taipei Zoo station, to take the cable car to Maokong. Single Trip is 50TWD per pax.
The cable ride is 20mins. From the bottom of the mountain to the top. The higher you go, it more windy and it will be shaky~~~ Eeee~~~ very scary....
The cable go up..up..up..into the mountain where Maokong is. Maokong is a place for tea plantation. But our purpose today is to sit the cable car oni so when we reached Maokong, we didn't take the tour bus there to visit any plantation. So we took a mini bus down to WangFang Community station. Wow...WangFang area like rich people stay one leh...got alot of condos and private houses. (dun koe cost how much hor....)
Weoso went to the Duty Free Shop at ZhongShan Junior High School there. Hmmm... nothing much but we bought flower candy and chocolate coated with longan(very nice), pineapple, peach and one more i forgot what liao.

Then we took the train to ZhongXiaoFuXing to walk the underground mall. But there really nothing to see or buy unlike Taipei main station mall. I dun koe why now i want to eat something with soup. I sick of the food they sell leh. I missed chicken rice, wanton noodle lah, this n that...haha..

We ate at Bugu shop. Noodle soup, so....so...oni but what to expect. go back sing must eat the Ajisang noodle one more time.

These area oso nothing to see or buy. Then by 5plus, we took the trai back to Taipei but on the way there, we changed our mind and went to XiMenDing again.

When we got out of the station. wow... the sky very dark liao. And Maokong was raining really heavily cos they stop the train liao. No train can go there. Luckily we left there early. So we walked walked and see see at XiMenDing. Suddenly i saw a shop selling clothe at 100TWD so we went in. It like the shop at Shilin nightmarket. Haha..and i bought 4-5 clothes ranging 100TWD - 199TWD. So total we spent there is 1000TWDplus...hai...

2morrow maybe go to WufenPu again....hahah....

Then finally, Ah Hong online and Benjy n Ashley not sleep yet so can see and talk to them...haha...

Taipei 29/5/08

29/5/08 (TaiChung->Tiger City->FengJia nightmarket)

We went to TaiChung. Weather forecast 2day is raining day. But at Taipei , is fine. Last nite we bought the HRS ticket at 560TWD each allocated seats. So this morning we woke up at 7plus and went straight to the train.

Wow...the train seat is bigger than the airplane leh. Can eat in the train and it got toilet and stuff pushing trolley selling food and souvenir.

The train really move in a very high speed. The ticket we bought does not stop at every station so it can reached TaiChung within 50mins.

We were so lost when we alight from the train. The place and e feeling is so different from Taipei. The train station oni have bus services, free shuttle bus and taxis. There is no MRT in TaiChung one!!!

So fed up that can't find the map that i read last nite cos it show you where to go. At the station, there is no maps or brochures of TaiChung. Finally talk to an uncle, asked him this n that then in the end decided to take the free shuttle bus to SOGO Department Store....haha..

Lucky we reached b4 11am cos at that time the department store then open and can see their routine of opening the store. B4 we can go in , it alrdy started to rain.

Wow..this SOGO have 18th floor!!!!! The 1st floor we went to is their foodcourt on the 15th floor. We ordered our lunch cos we were so hungry liao. Both our sets cost 140TWD n 170TWD and can eat till full full After that we went to the children section which there is nothing to see.

Now is 1.42pm, and it still raining outside (very heavily). And at 1st we want to go to TianJin district where there sell alot of clothe but cos the shuttle oni stop at SOGO so we walked here 1st. To go to TianJin we need to take a taxis. So now, wecan't go anywhere liao. WHAT A DAY!!!! Now sitting at Starbuck lor... ordered blueberry cheesecake and mocha drink. After that small break, we decided to walked across the street to the LV shop.

After that, we took a taxis to the Tiger City. It a small shopping mall with a cinema and games zone at the basement. Haha..so we went to catch a show -> What happen in Vegas. It a very funny show, not bad.

By the time we left the cinema, it about 3plus. So we jus walked ard the Tiger City and went to the games zone. Plus they oso have a casino area and the game there so cute. Finally it stop raining, so we took a taxis to FengJia nightmarket. Hai..we oni walked for about 10-15mins, it start to rain again. Lucky the part of nightmarket got shleter and aircon one so we walked n stay there and look for food. 1st we bought the squid japanese balls, DaBao Bao XiaoBao, pan cake wrapped w meat, hotdogs, TianBuLa (not bad, but don't know what they add in there) and green tea. After dinner, we walked abit and saw a game stall. So we try the shooting game using gun. hough it a fake gun but it very heavy leh. We have 15 shoots but for the 1st 5-7 i can't hit anything so i give to hb. Diao... he can shots 4 down and we get a small prize. It had stopped raining, so we faster walked to another side of the market and bought charcoal chicken to eat. But sudden it rain again and stop and rain. So we decided to taxi back to the train station.

Taipei 28/5/08

28/5/08 (Danshui->ZhuWei->WuFenPu->RaoHe nightmarket)

Today weather like yeaterday, 30 degree, very hot. This day we took the MRT to Danshui to see see and walk walk.

We didn't go to the YuRen MaTou cos it very far, if we are to walk. And the Danshui old street not open yet(oni a few open) and so nothing to see. The river is very smelly leh. Not very clean too.

We wonder around their streets and see how they make busy along the narrow street. So many people and motorcycles still can pass.
We just walked around for 1hr plus then we took the MRT to ZhuWei...why cos we saw a Carrfour there...hahaha...to see anything to buy. But from the MRT we still need to walked about 15mins.
The carrfour is very big like singapore. Dun know why we still can buy from there and cost us 2000TWD plus. I bought pants for Benjy and Ashley each cost 149TWD. Then a mickey mouse bag pack, instant noodle (cheaper then Family Mart), chocolate, etc..... Then they dun give plastic bag one, you have to buy from them. Oh ...we finally bought their 便当!!! Inside have fried chicken fillet, vegatables and others i forgot liao (cost i think 59TWD). When i carried it it still warm but we walked and walked till it cold liao but still very delicious. We shared that lunch together, still outside the carrfour on 2nd flr cos there got a Macdonald chair...haha...and too tired to find other places. After that we oso bought ice cream from the store bedside us. We left about 2plus and walked back to MRT and back to hotel.
Reached hotel about 3plus. So tired and hot so take abath 1s then...suddenly i heard my mum's voice!!! Ai ya...hb called home using skype. Diao...he nvr read instruction b4 calling. Cos he jus signed up yesterday and can have free call out for as long as you like BUT he dun koe. And when it get through we fast fast talk and talk oni for 2mins plus. After we end the call THEN he go read about charges this n that and found out that 1st time register, call out is free. He or...so we waste th 1st call liao.

At ard 5plus, we went to WuFenPu. It a wholesale district selling clothes. From Mrt we walk about 5mins can reached liao. Really alot if clothing and selling very cheap (at 100TWD). But we oni bought a pair of clothing for Benjy and Ashley. Thomas the Train and Dora. They will love it very much. After that we went to RaoHe Nightmarket.
Ai yoi...we thought it very near to WuFenPu leh but very far. Need to walked up a bridge and walked for 15mins. Hungry alrdy and finally we reached it. Mostly selling food and some clothing and shoes. There oso have face threading!!!

For dinner, we ate oyster omettle, prawn omettle, oyster mee suan and smeely toufu. Strange today he said the toufu very smelly but i dun smell anything leh. So i eat all...hahaha... Then we oso try the Mei Zi green tea. Not bad very refreshing.

Ok now how to get back to MRT. We dun want to go back the same way and we thought it will be very near. We ask the security guard and he said will take us about 20mins or so. Ok then we walke. But still very unsure how ...and half way we asked 2 people for direction. And finally we asked a lady who just get off from work and she said she also going to the MRT (later then we know it the TaiPei City Hall Mrt) and so we followed her (she walked really fast leh). And it took us total about 45mins to reached.

Then we went to bought our TaiChung train ticket. So that 2morrow dun have to wake up early to buy.
